Daily Classes

Join Alok to practice Yoga for mental stability, physical health and spiritual growth.

Reasons for daily practice

If it was up to me, in our Yoga class we would just come together & sit in silence, be aware and practice the art of being present. We are not ready for that yet. Now a day's if we don't do something bendy it is not considered Yoga.

In the beginning, it is necessary to practice the prescribed Asana & Pranayama for the cleansing of the body & mind. Only when the body and mind is truly calm and relaxed can we sit in silence and be present.

Daily practice helps us to achieve inner peace and connection to our true self. Of course we practice to keep the body strong and healthy, but the intention goes far beyond just the physical.

Reasons for our daily practice include:

  • Daily practice is necessary to become humble. We practice not Asana but humility.

  • We practice to surrender to the higher consciousness.

  • We come to the Yoga mat as like going to a temple.

  • We take this time to forget all our worries, to go inward to meet our true self.

  • Daily practice is a remembrance of your true self.

Every practice session begins with a prayer to help us concentrate and to invite this energy into our life. At the end of the session we close with a prayer of gratitude towards life.
